The project has come to its end, but the project outputs and outcomes continue their life.
Professor Ineta Luka from Turiba University, Latvia, participated in the largest education conference in Europe organised by European Education Research Association (EERA) ECER 2018 "Inclusion and Exclusion, Resources for Educational Research?" in Italy, Free University Bolzano, held from 3rd to 7th September 2018.
The conference was attended by more than 2500 participants who presented their research reports in 32 scientific networks.
Prof. Ineta Luka presented the paper „Developing Students’ Language and Intercultural Competence for Future Employability: a Comparative Analysis of Latvia and Lithuania” in Network 11 „Educational Improvement and Quality Assurance” featuring the course piloting results in both countries. The audience was introduced with the project aims and the main outputs as well as got a detailed insight in the course piloting results. The presentation aroused interest and positive evaluation from the session participants who were from Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey etc. At the end of the presentation, the session participants received an information leaflet with the Internet address of the Learning platform and they expressed their readiness to use the platform to increase their own language skills and will motivate their students, friends and colleagues to do it as well.
